Black screen during champ select (forced dodge in series)

Hello, I was just forced to dodge a game because I was unable to ban **or **choose a champion. I queued up, accepted the queue, but was left with a black screen upon entering champion select. This is all after I reset my client because of another issue. I reset my client because the last time I was in champ select, I was unable to edit my summoner spells (... this is ranked, and I was stuck with smite when I was given the support role). My friend, who I was duo with, dodged this game because of similar issues on his end. I went ahead and closed my client, then re-opened it (as I'm finding myself having to do MULTIPLE TIMES EVERY TIME I WANT TO PLAY LEAGUE), only to queue up for ranked and run into an issue where not only can I not ban a champion, but I can't choose one either, so I'm kicked out and given a loss for the first game of my promotional series. http://prntscr.com/qsidx2

The client has been a source for so many issues for so long now, but it feels like nothing is ever being done. It shouldn't have to be expected that every time we play league, we'll have to restart our client a couple of times due to its low quality. It's literally costing me games at this point, so I decided I had no other choice but to make a bug report and stop playing for the day. The only feature in the client that's currently working for me right now? It's the shop. How convenient.
