Severe soft-lock.

So this just now happened when I tried playing ranked.

After drafting everything fine, the game goes to load everybody in and... Nobody loads. Everyone hangs at different percentages. I thought that the client had frozen for a second, this happens when I go to play sometimes, but everything showed it was working fine and responding. It just wasn't loading anybody.

After sitting on the screen for about a minute, I kill the game and try to reconnect.

Again, I load up to 21% and then just stop loading. Client is still responding, game's not crashing, it just... Doesn't load.

So I kill the game, quit the client, and restart everything. I'm thinking this has to be affecting everyone else, maybe like a server issue. This time when I try to connect, however, it loads me in fine, and it shows the games been going on for 13 minutes.

In a rush to get back in and catch up, I go to buy items... And they un-buy themselves. Like, I buy something and then, it sits there for a few seconds, then it leaves my inventory and refunds the gold. Multiple times. I try to move and can't - nobody else is moving, either. I check my ping and it's normal - around 50ms, nothing too crazy. I'm also not getting any "attempting to reconnect" or anything. The game just won't play, it's like it's frozen where it is and any attempts to change anything is rubberbanded.

So, I kill the game again and go to reconnect... And again, I hang at 16%. The client's fine and responding, it just refuses to load anything past 16%.

At this point I give up on trying to reconnect. This is going to mark me as abandoning and I'm going to lose out on LP and it's just because the client's acting up. That kinda sucks.

It's not my internet, everything else is running fine. In fact, I had just tried to play a solo-que ranked game just before this solo-que ranked game and it had no connection issues whatsoever. But for some reason now it's just not wanting to do anything. It also can't be the server, as again, for the split second I was in game it appeared everyone else had been playing and connected just fine. It's just for some reason it decided right now with this particular game, I would not connect to this particular game.

I have no idea if this is a regular problem - this is the only time anything like this has ever happened to me while trying to play - as it literally just started up. I started writing this post as the problem was happening.

Anyone else having this issue, or does this issue even happen? I tried googling around with the issue to no avail - everything was talking about spontaneous hard-crashes, full-on program not responding, or other unrelated technical issues.
