Did you make sure that you were eligible to earn a chest? Check your profile and see if there is a timer on getting your next Hextech Chest in the bottom-left corner.

I've had this same issue for weeks. My profile says i am eligible for 4 chests right now, got an s- last night and didn't get a chest
