didnt record saving masteries when starting game

i went to play trundle in a match toplane so i was making my masteries, for some reason i saved them and selected my skin but it didnt record saving my masteries. it still said i had my trundle masteries selected but it didnt save the masteries i set. when the game started i noticed i didnt have masteries at all. i think this might be a bug in the new client or something or just in general but nothing saved any info?
