Ambient background music is tied to sfx

The new age music played in game and home screen cannot be silenced through the music vol. but is instead tied to sfx. Surely just some over-sight but I just cant get into the game with this music nor can I play without sfx. I have tried sound controls for both in game and client and cannot rid myself of this sleepy-time meditation music without losing something else.
