Friends Showing Offline In Client but Aren't

My Client has been showing several of my friends offline that weren't...including my husband who was online next to me...we discovered It has to do with the mobile app. Its been doing it for several days and he suggested maybe trying to log out of the mobile friends app....did so and relogged client and voila! Friends!
