As a Gold player, why am I getting placed against Summoners under lvl 30 in norms?

I got Gold elo at around February, now here in August im getting placed against these low level players! Its not that fun because I get no challenge in the games (not to be offensive). Please fix!

Normal and Ranked MMR are separate.

normal MMR and ranked MMR are different. so you being gold is completely irrelevant

As other's have said the MMR's are different, and if you are duoed with someone, or someone on your team is a duo, then that raises the chances of playing with people that are below 30 or unranked
