Kalista Ult Timer was Wrong

I was playing on the ARAM game mode as Kalista, and I didn't have my ult. When I had died I tried to express my ult was down when I died by pinging the timer on my ult, but it said ready, and when I looked at my ult it still had a few seconds before its cool down was up. That means my team could've thought my ult was up and gone in based off of that. I haven't played Kalista on Summoners Rift recently to know if this is ARAM specific.
