Delay in everything from Login Screen up to Champion Selection

I have been playing LoL for a while now, but I have never come across something as annoying as this Bug. Normally when I try to log in, it goes like "Starting Authenticating process.........something" then "Logging on", takes like 5-7 seconds. However, ever since the end of September, Logging on takes between 20 sec to 1 min. Logging on to chat services takes another 30-50 seconds, and loading towards the Champion select page also takes another 50 sec. Can someone tell me what is going on? I am 100% sure this isn't my computer problem since I can run everything smoothly after loading in-game.

What is the reason for the server delays for logging on?
