Closing league on load in will not let you reconnect

This has happened to me so many times.. The game may not be responding so i close it to try and reconnect, i close it, press reconnect and the screen is black and pops up "Failed to reconnect, please check (blah blah blah). I am not sure whether this is me, or league. but i have not had ping higher than 50 on league ever. so it is not my internet. But after i load in and accidentally press close program and then cannot reconnect, i get 5 game low priority.. Please help / fix.
