Garen Vs Fizz game breaking.

I was up against a fizz as garen and if he use his e just as my q or r animation was about to finish, (0.01 sec) i would freeze and be unable to move or cast anything for 2-4 seconds, varied on each occasion. Has this happened to anyone else or has any else experienced this? The enemy fizz aloud me to test this many times and we could confirm that it was happening.
