Stuck IN-GAME FOR 2+ hours

Long story short Enemy team /ffed nexus blew up Game didn't end even if we backed out can't get out send help D: To better explain the situation, my friends ended a game, over 2 hours ago, and now they are currently stuck in "reconnect" screen, the same as after you leave mid-game, when they click reconnect, it says there's a problem with their internet. Regardless of if it was somehow true or not, 2 hours later this should not be an issue. They've tried restarting their computers and the League client and still cannot exit this screen to play another game, or do anything else in the client.

They turned off their computers and it still pops up? That doesn't sound right.
