[CLIENT] Champion Select Screen is Blank

Twice lately when I've been loaded into champion select, it's come up as a black screen which I can't interact with. Because I can't interact with the screen but the client is active, champion selection either times out, or when I attempt to force close the client so I can try and reload, it counts as a queue dodge

I'm not a queue dodger, I just can't see my screen :( I pride myself on sticking with games no matter how terrible the matchups look, so this unexpected new feature in champ select gives me

Can someone please look into this? I wrote this off as an issue related to my computer, but it just happened to my roommate, too, so I wanted to put the word out there.

Edit: should probably mention this is NOT happening (so far) with the new draft select, only with blind pick. Once with an SR game, another time on ARAM
