Yosemite In-game crashes and Launcher/Patcher crashes

Starting about 2 weeks ago, I began experience constant in game crashes. At first I expected it to be a minor issue so I continued playing only to experience the crashes again and again. I went onto the look over forums for advice to see if people had been experiencing similar problems and I could only find one or two people reporting the same though this was occuring on PCs rather than Macs so their methods on resolving the problems did not work for me. I've done just about everything that is suggested under the technical support page and have had no luck in resolving this issue. At this point I cannot install league of legends as the patcher just closes on me at random and have been unable to play normally for the last two weeks. I have been attempting to resolve this with support through email but the response time is dreadful so I want to get the word out now in case others are experiencing similar problems. I am also aware that riot does not fully support Yosemite yet. If this is something that just needs time then I can wait. I'd just like to know how long it is expected before this might possibly be resolved.
