Language Filter disabled in Launcher but Enabled in game

So Like the title states in the launcher screen where you can go to shop and message friends and pregame lobby and everything is the language Filter is disabled. But when I load into a game language Filter is enabled with no options in the in game menu to enable or disable a language Filter. I am running Legacy client and have tried to Enable / disable toggle the language filter in the client and also through the C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\RADS\projects\lol_air_client\releases(lat est version)\deploy\preferences pathway to the shared_(username).properties file and it is set to EnableChatFilter=0 like it should. I also tried going to (username).properties file and delete the !EnableChatFilter or change it to like !DisableChatFilter (I think the !EnableChatFilter was name of the line of code was about middle of top line of code). I then tried C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config game.cfg and changing EnableChatFilter=1 to EnableChatFilter=0 since it defaulted to 1 even though everything else was still set at 0. No results from it though. So no current finds will search through some other folders to see If i cant find another file with chat filters settings.

Edit: It is a wide Spread issue a lot of people are encountering and currently there dose not appear to be a Fix and riot is working on it. This post was made after a conversation with support requesting it be posted since I had been In chat trying a couple of different lines in folders to see if changing them would fix but we found nothing. Still working on trying to find other places with Language Filter references but probably wont lead to much.

This is currently happening to me too, and I'm on the new client.

I'm having the same issue, I checked both legacy and normal client and it's off on both but as soon as I enter game it's on.

Same for me - disabled language filter in Legacy home screen, but it is still enabled in game.

Haven't checked this on the PBE client yet.

Bumpity bump bump. i understand riot wants their game to be a little less "edgy" (graves cigar cough cough) but after every update i have to go into the text files and change the chat filter option. this time it didnt work

Same thing happening to me too. I tried what you said and no results for me either. I never realized such a minor thing would trigger me so much. Guess I've gotten used to not seeing: * * ** on every swear word for years.
