Forsaken Jayce Skin Glitch

I didn't say anything when the skin first came out because I thought it was me or it was just a bug that would be fixed right away. Whenever I use the forsaken jayce skin I get a ton of lag spikes. I have asked all my friends and a lot of other friendlies through league and they experience the same problems with the skin. The skin is awesome but if I'm going to lag every time I use the skin then what's the point?

Please help.
