Nidalee - Spears not hitting

Several times (0-3 times per game) in my last few Nidalee games I've thrown spears that travel right through the enemy champion without connecting. At first I attributed it to POV or camera angle etc. but the frequency of this occurring and the fact that on at least a couple occasions other champions commented stating their confusion leads me to believe the spears are bugged. Not sure if this problem is akin to the "invisible" spears bug, but should definitely be investigated. Thanks.
