Getting Low Priority Queue after Dc'ing for 3 minutes?

Last season, the occasional DC meant that you would get LPQ, which I totally agree with. But now, this season, i'm getting a 20 min LPQ for each and every DC I have? How come it used to be every so often, but now it's each and every time? It's quite frustrating, seeing as DC's can be out of your control, as everyone knows. Is this intentional Riot? Why are you never returning my calls?

This makes me sad, Riot Pls.

It has always been like that. I once DC'd for like 5 min in Season 2, came back and we still won. Got banned after the game. QQ.

Yeah. Same happened here. My dog stepped on my surge protector and I was gone for 3 minutes and a few seconds. Came back to 20 min low priority queue--side note: I have not afk'd or d/c'd AT ALL in over a month before this.
