Warrick's ult using physical damage, but showing as magic damage

Has anyone noticed that ult SAYS that it uses magic damage / ability power, But in game uses OR shows as Attack damage?

Just because any ability deals magic damage does NOT mean it has to scale with Ability Power, I thought we were all aware of this.

Abilities that deal magic damage CAN scale with AD. AD scalings are shown in the orange seen there.

Abilities that deal physical damage CAN scale with AP. AP scalings are shown in green.

Please note that an ability dealing damage is distinct from the stats it scales from.

The color on the number only indicates which stat is used to increase the number, not the type of damage it does.

Warwick's ultimate damage increase based on his Attack Damage but the damage he deals with it is magic. Exactly like the tooltip says.
