Normal Queue fails to bring us to Champion Select

================================= Seems like it's solved, at least for now (5.3).

So, quite often and seemingly random, i join the Normal Blind Pick queue, i click the Accept button, however, instead of moving on to the Champion Select screen it shows the home page temporarily as if i never joined the queue, despite the sounds being as if i was.

Reproducing steps: 1- Join a queue (so far only SR has been confirmed for this but all with champion select should have the issue) 2- Wait until you are asked to Accept/Deny and click Accept 3- If the bug occured then you are put back to the home page (the client one, not the site) with the "Play" button instead of the timer displaying how long you've been in queue

[Confirming summoners / opposing summoners] = 14 / 0 (Me, ThePSgamer, rica3000, andrade99, DeathGh0st, Crs Chillindude, LittleBoyChaser7, Wemakegoodteam, Myranii, Balbraaksel, DimoKaz, FiendOfOne, IAPEI, ZzShy, etc. // Stopping the count since it's more than confirmed that it's happening on multiple people)

welp im an official member of this club since 4.19 patch. :( looks like no solution either. im on a 30 min penalty right now. shall we get flaming torches and hit the streets? who is with me?

Due to expirements mentioned in the Forum Archive post it's led to believe that this may occur at random, and not depending on some sort of pattern or reset.

This just happened to me. Joined a solo ranked, clicked to accept the queue, and heard the sounds that indicates it's your turn to ban, but instead of seeing champ select / ban screen, I was stuck on "retrieving data from server" and it would not proceed to champ select. Tried cancelling and was sent to a blank black screen. Tried relogging and took a series loss / leaver 5 minute penalty.

This has been happening to me for several patches now in ARAM queues. Usually my first queue goes fine, then any after will bug like this. It makes it impossible for me to enjoy playing multiple games with friends because I end up frustrated and just stop playing after we finish the game where I had the bugged queue.

This same issue happens to me. Usually it is the second game I queue up for on an account causing me to either switch accounts or wait out an increasingly longer dodge penalty.

This is happening to me as well, Im being forced to re-log into my client after EVERY SINGLE game or otherwise be forced to dodge a queue I was never in and face a dodge penalty, it's really frustrating.

I've been having this problem a lot as well. At least a few times a day if I try to get in more than one game (I typically have 1 game or about 8-10 in a day)

So after being fustrated with this bug preventing me from joining champion select again, I spammed search for game in the party lobby I was in then, I left that lobby and soloqueued for the same game type. After hitting the soloqueue button it put me back into champion select. Although I did end up losing about 20 secs in champion select, I did not have to dodge and still got into the game. I only tested this once so if other people could test this we can see if this is a possible temporary fix until solved by Riot.

It's INCREDIBLY frusturating and is quite frankly starting to just piss me off at this point. Its one thing when I do it in norms/blind pick and have to play whatever role my teammates don't want me to, but when the game completely forces me to lose LP for no reason it's just stupid. Riot needs to address this ASAP."
