Gangplank q bug of mana refund

hey riot, it is supposed to be a bug for our mighty pirate gp.So the case is like this- suppose a minion have 30 hp and my q have 70 damage. Plus my minions r attacking him too. if i fire pistol and minion dies before it hit him. Then my q is set on cooldown and full mana cost is applied and no gold. i think if my minion killed that minion in the case here. my q shouldnot go on a cooldown. plz make it clear.

Working as intended; basically be more careful when Q'n.

You made the shot - just because there was nothing left to hit, the shot was still made.

This has always been the case for Gangplank, it's literally as Quackas says - be more careful with Q's :-) It's all about timing - too early and you don't kill, too late and you miss.
