League not working in 10.15

I do not think that League is compatible with my OSX. I am currently running 10.15 Catalina which won't run league because Mac OS X 10.15 and later, OpenGL (the API that LoL uses on Mac) is not supported. Because Apple is forcing developers to shift to his proprietary API, Metal. I am wondering if anybody else is having this problem. Or if riot is going to make league actually use the Metal API??
