Morgana Ultimate interaction with aniva egg bug

I'm not entirely sure if this is a bug or a planned interaction. When morgana ults anivia and then she turns into egg form while the chains are still active, the chains break and the ultimate does not apply the second part of the damage/stun. (I.E. chains break when anivia goes into egg form) Is this a correct interaction or should the chains still be active?
