Center Screen on Champion in Semi-Locked Camera Doesn't Work

I am trying to transition from locked screen to unlocked screen, and i think the Semi-Locked screen is great. I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional. but i cannot get the "center Screen on champion" button (usually spacebar) to work. I am on a mac and i have re-bound that button to "H".
