Critical Updates Required Bug

Everytime I open league, the riot client pops up with a message saying "Critical updates required" and gives me 2 options, apply updates and exit. Well of course i click apply updates, but after around 15 seconds, the client reappears with the same message over and over again. Can somebody please help me. This happened yesterday morning(my time) and I don't know why, submitted ticket to riot support, expert has contacted me, referred me to riot agent, but riot agent hasn't responded yet. Please help!!! Thanks
