Getting Game Invited in Champ Select?

Got a game invite from another summoner in champ select and I accepted it to see what would happen, was kicked from the matchmaking lobby, unable to choose champs or talk in chat, waited for about 3 minutes before I just closed the client. Lost lp for it too.
