BUGSPLAT on new victory/defeat animation [Patch 5.5]

I'm getting a bugsplat 90% of the time on the new victory and occasionally defeat animation, especially when it happens at the top base. Is anyone else experiencing this and has anyone figured a way to temporarily remedy it?
