Irelia game crash

Every time I pick Irelia, with frostblade skin because best skin, I freeze at the loading screen and alt tabbing, ctrl alt deleting, and home buttoning doesn't get me out of the loading screen. And no amount of restarting computer then reconnecting to league gets me back in. I really like Irelia and really want to play her without getting reported for afk. It does not and has not done this with any other champion. Has this happened to any other Irelias? Because come to think of it, I can't remember the last time I faced an Irelia, and i play about 6-8 games a day.
