No Mastery 6 Token

I got mastery level 5 on lux about 40 minutes ago (in a Hexakill game). I then played her again, got an S, and got no mastery level 6 token.

You are unable to receive a Mastery 6 token in the same game you reach Mastery 5; you have to be M5 first. The notification you got was an explanation on how to earn M6 tokens, not one saying that you did get one. The confusion on this is understandable due to the similar banners.
