[CLIENT] Installer stuck at 84%

I was having serious FPS issues so decided to try a reinstall and it keeps getting stuck at 85% (well today, on my third try it's 84%). It says Updating Game Files / 230mb (0 kbps) and just sits there.

I've tried deleting the RAD project folders like it says in a post on the league forums but that didn't work. I'm on a 2011 MacBook Pro and have been playing league fine until 4.17 when I started having intense FPS issues. Now I can't even get it installed :( any ideas? Firewall is turned off. Activity Monitor shows the LoL UserKernal (Not Responding). App Nap is deactivated. PVP deactivated.

Well, your first problem is that it is an Apple. They have been having a lot of troubles with them lately (in addition to the already shitty Apple product you own). So the lack of support for the Mac client could actually be your problem. Do you have PVP downloading turned on? I think that is what it is called, but when I had a lot of trouble downloading the patches and stuff, I just turned that off and it worked fine.
