Gifting Error, has anyone experienced this?

I bought 5000 RP (35$) and then 650 RP (5$) on 8/23/19. I wanted to gift my friend the AstroNautilus skin, which costs 1350 RP. As I click to send gift, an error message appeared. So I proceeded to try again 3-5 times, and it wasn't until the last attempt that I noticed that the store deducted 1350 RP each time, even though it is for the same skin for the same person. I now have 289 RP.

I'm pretty upset by this, since I purchased most of that RP for the upcoming Elderwood Veigar skin and the chromas for it (he is my favorite champion). I already submitted a support ticket, but wanted to know if anyone has experienced this issue too.
