Client Crash! Whaaat?

Basically this is a client and a crash problem. I have a new Windows, 8.0 I think, and I just got league on it. I installed everything and now it's updating, but it's been updating since Christmas, so about 2-3 days. Everytime it will get stuck around 32-34% and once it even got stuck at about 99%. I figured I would just exit and reopen to see if it would work, but then a bugsplat would come up. Bugsplat only seems to come up AFTER I exit the client patcher. I deleted everything, if I correctly did do it, and reinstalled. It still didn't work or finish updating after doing that either. Also. when I sleep my computer, sometimes it will just close the client without me doing anything. I don't know what's wrong. What I wanna know is if it's my computer only or if other people have this problem too. I wanna play league on this computer, but it doesn't seem like I can. Any comment with advice is appreciated. -Edit-: It most have been my computer. I don't know what caused the bugsplats, but now it's finished updating. :D
