leaverbuster bug

(this is not a post to voice my frustrations, i intend to take the punishment fully even though i know i dont deserve the full extent of it. with this post i just hope to help the riot team address the problem so that other unfortunate players wont encounter the same client bug that i have.)

So it happens that i got tagged with leaver buster, which is a system i definitely support and want to continue as is now. apparently i got straight to 20min for each low priority queue that i start. as unknowing that i was at the time i got surprised by the extent of the punishment and of course checked it on the leaverbuster FAQ site. As far as i can see the system is both intended to give a warning from the first game that i leave and after the second i should get put into low priority queue with 5min waiting instances each match. i can assure that i did not recieve the warning and did not leave any games after recieving the leaverbusting punishment, still i have low priority queue for 20mins if maybe i got leaverbuster regularly then perhaps i could understand that it jumps straight to 20min, but i think i have gotten leaver buster only once before and that is at least a year ago or maybe 2.

i have had issues with my computer recently and a few days back i put my antivirus system (BullGuard) do some cleaning of my pc, this included removing dublicate files on my computer. back then i had the league client open at the time and had to cancel alot of popups regarding removing dublicate files with with LoL-tags due to already being in use. after this i tried to play a game with some friends but i was simply unable to connect to the game at all. i reckon that i have gotten some files, that was necessary for the game to run, deleted by my pc cleanup. i tried several times to close the client and see if i could connect after logging in again but without success and the game ended with a remake. This is where i suppose i should have gotten the "Warning about leaving" which has been left out.

2 days later after fixing the game, im sitting in loading screen and due to personal emergencies i had to leave quickly and game back to the game where i witness the vote to remake go through and of course i get tagged with leaver buster.

this is the 20min waiting timer for each queue i get straight off the bat which is unreasonable according to how you explain the leaver buster system yourselves.

im unsure if this is because of me repeatedly opening league client trying to reconnect and repeatedly close the client again back the first time i left, which the system registers as leaving several games straight or if its something else.

hopefully this can be fixed before other people end up in the same situation as i am as they might not take the issue as calmly as i.

also i probably wont be looking at this post again, so further information or answers will likely not come. hopefully this is one more step towards perfecting the game that i love the most :D ps: im already through 3 games and only need 2 more to exit leaverbuster yeehooo!!

also if you determine that the cause of the problem is because of bad compatibility with my computer then here are the specs
