Greetings C9 Kristen,
I am Corndog, part of the tech team, and I am here to help!
If you were unable to see any champions, or anything on the screen once you got into the Champion Select screen, that would be a connection related issue. This can happen for quite a few reasons: High amounts of traffic on the network, network buffering from the ISP trying to balance traffic, faulty network drivers, or even malfunctioning network equipment somewhere in the connection. I'd be happy to make some suggestions to see if we can't get this problem sorted out!
Disclaimer: You will want to do any changes, or check settings in Custom matches only. Please do not attempt to make changes or attempt to see improvements while playing in normal or ranked game modes as penalties may occur from problems not being fully resolved.

To help with conflicting 3rd party programs, I'd like you to run a CLEAN BOOT to get rid of any extra processes you might have running.
-
I'd like you perform a powercycle to ensure that your signal is refreshed. This can fix some network issues, if the connection simply is being stressed.

Here's a link to our article about how to improve your connection, and after going through each step, it usually fixes most issues you'd have: here. Also after checking that out, if you could provide- A Network Analysis: https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752674#wq1
This is a tool that allows me to see your system and local network set up, and lets me gather some information on to how to provide an accurate fix:
If you could please, download the Hextech Repair Tool:
https://support.riotgames.com/hc/articles/224826367
After opening it, check the box that says "Gather System and LoL Logs" and click Start. A .zip file will be created on your desktop that includes your logs. Attach this file to your ticket and I’ll investigate further.
