Client Failure in Champion Select causes me to be in a lower priority queue?

So I was just in queue for a minute, got into a regular ranked game, everything was going fine, we were almost done banning, and then my chat failed, it took a few attempts to reconnect, but I wasn't worried since that is regular for me. Then, about 30 seconds after I reconnected to chat, my LoL client became a transparent white, the whole client started to fail, and since I was on windows it gave me the attempting to reconnect to "League of Legends" tiny window. I waited for like a minute (I'm really impatient) and then I just pressed cancel hoping I could just log back on. So I log on and now when I try to queue I get the lower queue for 6 minutes. My mouth is just open... Can this please be fixed >.
