I patched my game to 8.15 and then all of a suddenly I need like 15 minutes to enter a game when loading screen starts. And in game I have like 1-4 fps. Tried repair, didn't work. Tried repatch, didn't work. Tried updating my graphic card driver, didn't work.
As i understand in my case it is because of the anti-cheat update that somehow is not compatible with older AMD BIOS versions. However i today spent already half of my day to try and fix the issue before finding out about the AMD problem and as i have reinstalled the game twice and i have deep anger for the person responsible for this update, i am quitting the game for now. GL&HF
I'm extremely irritated with Riot for not acknowledging the fact that MANY people with MANY different computers are ALL having the same issue. The fact that Riot, who has now had this patch live for a day and a half, has yet to make a comment or solution in regards to the problem is beyond infuriating. I have had to AFK in 8 games (3 ranked) because each time I try to troubleshoot on my own, I see little success. It always starts out the same, too. For the first 5-7 minutes, my game runs completely smooth. Towards the 8-10 minute mark, my game begins to freeze every 30-45 seconds for about 5 seconds (0-1 FPS). By the time I reach the 15-20 minute mark, the game becomes unplayable. The screen freezes at 0 FPS every 5 seconds for nearly a minute. I then am forced to either exit the game or reboot my computer. The problem seems to go away for the remainder of the game after I reboot my whole computer, which by the way, takes 5-7 minutes. However, soon after, the issue begins again. I have done numerous uninstalls to no prevail. I have looked for corrupted files, checked my own connection, and updated various graphics software within my computer: nothing works. A similar issue occurred around the Irelia rework, but I was able to fix by reinstalling. Personally, although I am very frustrated, I feel much worse for the people who have to experience someone's disconnection and in most cases, an unfair defeat. With that being said, Riot owes it the most to those people.
I’m having this issue too. Starting at around 8-10 minutes the FPS stutters from 200+ down to 80 and progressively goes down until the 16-20min mark where the FPS drops to 00 for 30 seconds at a time with 3 seconds of gameplay in between. At this point I cannot exit the match or even use task manager to force close the game, I have to hard reboot my computer to even get out of the game. The timing has been consistent on highest and lowest settings and happens on every map, even in custom games where I’m only playing with AI. Please fix this, thanks.
FYI AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16-core 32gb ram Dual 1080TI graphics cards .... Pretty confident it’s not an issue with my computer.
I’m sick of your generic troubleshooting issues Riot. Give us a genuine answer- it clearly is on YOUR end. There has been no previous issue until this patch. I have the msi gs65 and have 300 fps and i get 23 ping and it still has systematic lag where it will freeze systematcally between intervals. However it fixes temporarily if you reconnect. SOMEONE BE RESPONSIBLE AND GIVE US A SINCERE ANSWER AND NOT THE BULLSHIT TROUBLEHSOOTING link!

I'm having the same issue now; NEVER had these problems before installing the new patch. Game takes about 10-15 minutes to get in and once I'm in, I have about 2 FPS. Tried doing a clean reinstall, didn't work. Tried rebooting, didn't work. Checked me internet, wasn't the issue. Not sure what happened but I hope it gets fixed! :(

i7-6700k nvidia geforce gtx 1070 16gb ram same shitty problem, game works fine 0-10 minutes, then getting small drops to 137 fps after 15 minutes then it drops to 90 between 15-20 and somewhere 20 minutes it starts to drop to 0. at 25-30 minutes in game fps drops to 0 and whole game freezes for solid 5-15seconds.. and this started to happen after new patch. tried reinstalling etc, still not workin.
Edit. seems to work if i restart game after the lags start. still dont know if those drops stay away if the game goes on by 20 minutes..
My FPS drops too like these days when riot released Reworked Irelia and all of us we had problem. That problem happens again now! Any idea how to fix or should we wait for Rito?

Has factory resetting your GPU settings worked for anyone? Id rather not do it if it doesnt do anything for me. Win 10 AMD FX 4300 GPU: AMD radeon rx 460
I've lost 3 ranked matches due to this nonsense, the longer the game goes, the longer my fps stays at zero. When I start the game I'm riding at 70-80. Specs are Windows 10 AMD FX 6300 6 core processor GPU NVIDIA GEFORCE 960 8GB or RAM You guys should fix this, and probably give me that LP back, done with this.
Lol this happened before when riot added the new anti cheat system they fixed it eventually but now it is back after this patch and it's really frustrating that we are going through the same issues over and over again. It was happening to me on the PBE before the patch even came out and I hoped they would have fixed it before it came out on the regular client. 
i am having the same problem sofare tried the solutions but they didn't change anything sofare and i am using intel cpu.
My system is I7 8750, 1060 my fps drops from 150 to 10. and it frozen for 4 sec at least in many times during game
I have reinstalled with the hextech tool and i have disable the "Disable Fullscreen Optimizations", the fps drops still there
cant really play the game anymore in this condition

I was playing akali regular skin vs blood moon kennen and every time kennen ulted my game froze for 4 seconds.

I was having the Frame Rate issue, as well as crashing at the end of games. I fixed both problems by uninstalling, then deleting all the Riot folder and emptying my recycle bin. I also ran CC cleaner and cleaned up my registries. Then reinstalled as Admin. Not sure which (or if all) of those steps did the trick, but I'm playing no problems now.
I had tried deleting just certain folders based on some other posts and you tube videos, but that did't work. Completely removing the Riot folder did help. Hope it works for you all too!
It's possible that you need to complete a clean reinstallation of League in order to resolve the issue. Grab Riot's Hextech Repair Tool and check both the box for 'Reinstall' and 'Clean Uninstall', then hit the Start button. This will wipe all files associated with League to ensure corruption doesn't carry over, then reinstalls the game.
