Game crash after champ select, minimizes into hidden icon and says to reconnect

I have been having a problem where i can get into champ select but as soon as the game should start loading it just doesn't. Leagues minimizes and when i click on the hidden icon it says to reconnect, then i press reconnect and it just keeps repeating. I have tried so many things to fix it and none have worked. From my reading this is an issue mostly on mac but i am on windows 8. Please help!!!
