Losing LP during a series
I lost LP when i lost my 1st game of of 3 in a series. Has this happened to anyone else?

This always happens. You lose and gain LP during your series just like your other matches, and if you fail the series you'll end up with LP equivalent to the LP you gained and lost (you don't just drop from series to the same amount). If your losses are worth 15 and your wins are worth 15, if you lose 2 win 0 you'll end up with 70 LP. If you win 1 then lose 2 you'll end up with 85. Understand?
It can get confusing because if (for example) you win the first one, the total will not go above 100 even though it's secretly 115, then if you lose one it'll go back to 100 and you won't even notice. This is basically how you rarely see it change.
