When hextech crafting has been released i've got a lot of key fragments almost every four games i've got a fragment now i can't get a single fragment for 5 days straight even when i can get chests (in case you ask i'm not banned or afk punished) and i have no idea what's the cause of this problem my friends get key fragments but i don't and i'm 1 fragment short from a key!!!
ever since i got my 4th chest key frags never dropped for me either, 20wins 0 key frags, now that is the start of a new month still no key drop i got the chest tho
Key fragment drop rate is not linear, and will decline. This resets each month.

I just was talking about this. Key fragment rate decreases after each one you get, Which is why, say, the fourth box or so is harder to open than the first one. God forbid you buy a fifth box with no key and have to farm for it.. it'll never get opened. Just yet another way riot makes you pay for a key.
The reason is that it balances out key-to-box ratio, and prevents people from getting all 4 boxes opened in one day.
I just got an S right now and I have two available chest but I didn't get one nor a key fragment. Also first game of the week? Is it normal for the chest to not drop?

You think thats bad? I received 8 fragments for the entire month....even playing several 3, 4 or even 5 man premades, which I understand will increase your chances. Not only that, but the only thing I've received is a champ I already own out of only 16, and a skin for a champ I DON'T own! lolol
Did I mention that I also had 2 perfect games, one being a Jhin 10/0/15 with 200cs at 30 minutes and didn't receive an S either? lol. I really have NO CLUE what their idea of ranking is!
