Patch 5.3 Error For Mac V10.9.5
i'm having a problem with the Patch Update telling me Update fail and i'm currently stuck at Step 1/2 Updating Interface 2.27MB (0 Kbps) 32% Anyway to help?

I got to 99% the first time and it crashed. Since then I get stuck "calculating differences" at 33%, while the number of files checked seems to get endlessly larger.
so, i have a mac as well, but i don't think it's mac related issue. i saw a lot of threads about that, and i guess most of them are windows users. anyway, i had the same problem for a few days now. at the first 2 days i tried constantly to force the patch, then i left it for another few days. i then tried to "repair" my client, and walls! it worked. I'm not sure if it's official solution, but you can try it. i hope to see you soon on the fields of justice!
Do you have the peer to peer option On or Off? Some have mention having peer to peer On causes issues.
Did this ever resolve for you? Mine has been stuck at 33% all day
I have the same issue on a windows PC, so I don't think the fact you've got a mac has anything to do with the error. I submitted a ticket, but god knows how long it will take them to figure out a workaround and get back to me.
Great first impressions of League of Legends, I played for the first time on Monday.
It's been a few days now and my client has been stuck at 33%. Today I finally tried to uninstall and reinstall. The patch was fine until it hit 33% AGAIN.
I am having the same problem. Can anyone please fix this?

THIS IS A WAY TO MABYE FIX TE PROBLEM WHERE IT WILL SCAN UNLIMITED!!!! OK I AM NOT SURE IF THIS REALLY WORKS!!!!! I FOUND IT FOR MAC AND AM STILL TRIEING IT OUT FOR MAC SO DONT YELL AT ME IF THIS IS NOT THE CORRECT WAY TO DO IT.
Sorry about it. Also I will make it possible for germans to read this. Ok lets start! You go on Applications/Programme and then on your League of Legends. DONT CLICK ON IT! Click with two fingers on it and go on the second Option called** Package Contents/Programm Inhalte** then go on Contents/Inhalte. After that go on Lol click on RADS and on projects/Projekte go on lol_patcher because that is the problem releases/Versionen the could be only one or several well click on the highest number/höchste Nummer or on 0.0.0.19 (thats what I had) continue on to deploy and on LoLPatcherUx CLICK ONLY ON THIS ONE its gonna start patching manually. You have to let it go on to 20.000
What worked for me was hitting "Repair" on the patcher. It repaired and downloaded the patch overnight (though my connection is a wireless 25mbps on a 2010 macbook pro, so it would probably be quicker for other people). I'm also running Yosemite 10.10.2.
I can help, stop playing on a mac.
I usually just stop the update and retry
I have exactly the same problem. And I don't have the Peer to Peer, thing, on.
