Quests say I received first win of the day but never received the xp or essence. I have a photo of this to prove it if you would like.

Are you trying to take it shortly after it comes back up? I've had it where I completed my game, but had 30 seconds or whatever left before it recharged. When I went to my profile, it looked like it was up.

Nope, this was another 12 hours after it would have came up. It showing as I completed it today, and will be up again in 18 hours, but no bonus was given.

I'd contact support to verify. I've had bugs lately where the client just didn't show me the animation or msised something. I got the reward, but it was not clear that I did.
