[GAMEPLAY] Illaoi Bugs/Glitches (Harsh Lesson CD during Leap of Faith and Test of Sprit interactions

I've been maining Illaoi since I started playing League again a couple months ago (the reason I provd into bronze lol never learn a new champ in ranked) and I really love the character. While she can be very limited in certain situations in others she can be a complete powerhouse (Only champ I have 3 S+ with - never pick 3 melee into illaoi - free win), so it comes down to how you play her. Of course this means setting up your win conditions, hitting your moves, and them actually working. With that said, on to the (maybe?) bugs.

  1. Harsh Lesson during Leap of Faith Harsh Lesson's CD is supposed to be reduced to a static 2 seconds whenever Leap of Faith is active. However, if you use Harsh Lesson BEFORE using Leap of Faith and the CD is higher than 2 seconds, using Leap of Faith WILL NOT reduce the CD to lower than 2 seconds. Scenario. I'm trying to follow up a gank. Illaoi has bad CC and mobility so I Harsh Lesson to a minion in the wave to get close so I can Test of Spirit. The enemy, knowing they will die, turns around to fight me in melee range, so I ult. The cooldown of my Harsh Lesson remains at 4 seconds left. It seems that unless you use Harsh Lesson for the first time AFTER Leap of Faith is already activated, it WILL NOT reduce the cooldown to two seconds automatically. You would have to wait the FULL 4-6 seconds, then cast Harsh Lesson, and if Leap of Faith is still active, THEN it will reduce the cooldown to two seconds. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a glitch, but having to remember this every time I'm going into a clutch situation is annoying, if nothing else, at times. Take into consideration that I prefer to use Q on Kindred before using W because I feel like I get more damage for time spent, since I get the Q off and immediately after casting W my cooldown will drop to 2 seconds regardless of it was at 8 seconds or whatever else before. When maining Kindred and Illaoi, and expecting Harsh Lesson's CD to ALWAYS be 2 seconds regardless of it being on cooldown before casting Leap of Faith, it becomes a team fight winning/losing issue. Just some clarity as to whether this is intentional for Illaoi as opposed to Kindred or if it's a glitch that has gone overlooked would be nice but I swear I've lost a few fights just because I thought I had 5 more tentacles smashing in 2 seconds but Harsh Lesson remains on a 4 second CD. -sadface-

  2. Test of Spirit interacting with different moves] I'm not going to type your head off about this one, it's pretty simple. There have been a few matchups where Illaoi's E has interacted pretty funky with the moves of other champs. For instance I've had an E go STRAIGHT THROUGH Xin after him knocking me up. Or when laning against Aatrox I have to be careful not to Test of Spirit at the same time as his Blades of Torment because for whatever reason Aatrox's E is considered a "unit" with collision for Illaoi's E. So basically if we both cast our E's at each other's face at the same time, my E will get absorbed by his E, but his E will still pass through mine and do damage to me. I'm sure you can see how her E being subject to move particle collision (or whatever it's called) can be just as frustrating for the Illaoi as trying to land the dang thing in the first place (or dodge it on the other end of the perspective lol). Again I'm just looking for clarity as to whether these things are bugs or intentional so I can properly adjust the way I fight with this champ. She doesn't leave a lot of room for mistakes and so if these couple things ARE indeed bugs, it would be nice to get them fixed as soon as possible so I can play her at her maximum efficiency (read: as good as my scrub butt can).

The Harsh Lesson timer thing should be able to be duplicated 100%. Same with the illaoi's E and Aatrox's E colliding. The Xin thing only happened once - I mean that timing is pretty tight to duplicate, but perhaps these two issues are smaller signs of a bigger issue with the way that Illaoi's moves are interacting with other moves, including her own. Hope this helps makes the game better and I was more coherent than I usually am when writing stuff like this. Thanks for listening and for the great game guys. I'm out.
