Chroma skins cant be selected

I got some chroma skins recently and I've noticed that I am only able to select a chroma if I use a dynamic queue draft pick. Doesn't let me select it in a bot , custom or aram game. It shows part of the skin's splash art, but I don't have the chroma options shown because the champ select skin window is too small to display the full splash art and chroma options. It's pretty annoying that I can't use my rose quartz zed chroma because I'm never mid when zed isn't banned. So I basically have no way of equipping my chroma for an aram, etc.
