I just tried a normal draft mode game of the new champ select, and it was going well. I was 4th pick, and waiting for our 3rd pick to ban. To me, it looked like he was stuck at 0 seconds for almost a minute before I got kicked from the lobby and got a 5 minute timeout for not banning anyone. My team and I could still talk in chat, but it was only me that got frozen.
I also had this issue, where countdown is stuck at 0 on one of the players, and I could still chat but not be able to do anything about it. Heard bit of swearing from teammates and 15 min queue time penalty. It happened twice in a row and I'm worried about queueing again.
I have encountered similar issues.
For the second time now I have been kicked out of Ranked, receiving a 30 minute wait, because new draft mode froze. Champ select has never frozen on me. It did exactly what OP said
