Nov 11 - 2015 - Step 1/2: Updating interface | 1 Files Scanned, 32% won't finish

I've been having trouble all day with trying to get league to get running again. i had to un-install it for awhile but i wanted to get it up and running again. well when i tried, the update bar would reach 33% and then crash, so i tried again, it repeated. so i went and redownloaded the installer and stated from scratch, same deal. so i pulled out my old hard drive and pulled up my installer and tried that one, well... its not crashing this time, instead it says

Step 1/2: Updating interface | 1 Files Scanned, 32%

so i went searching online to see if i could get some assistance, and it seems they always came to the same answer, go and make sure the S_OK file is in the correct folder, i went looking and in Lol_air_client, Lol_Launcher, and Lol_client, in the Releases folder where i have folders titled 0.0.0.204, 0.0.0.168, 0.0.0.40 and in every single one there is the S_OK thing there already.

currently I've been at 32% for about 5 hours. i was hoping someone might be able to suggest something? or more recent ways in which to fix it?

thank you.
