Game Freezing, unable to close

I play with friends and family, and we have all experienced the issue since urf, on multiple different computers. The game will freeze, and effectively crash as it cannot unfreeze. I then cannot close the game from the menu bar, nor can I close it via task manager as I cannot minimize LoL to display the task manager, always forcing a computer restart.
