DJ Sona - Can't click the music button to turn on.

Been playing with a friend who uses DJ Sona and have been unable to unmute the music in the tab screen. Can see the icon next to his name but doesn't let me click it to play the music. Works when I use 'O' to bring up the scorescreen.

Is this meant to work like that? Would love to hear those tunes without remembering 'O' as a hotkey > 3>
