Alpha Client bug

Hello Guys/Riot

Been getting an error when i try to run my Alpha Client it wouldn't let me update the preseason automatically either and for some reason I'm a child killer (Bug splat error) The Error says:

Error There has been an error. Error running C:\Riot Games\League of Legends/LeagueClient.exe : child killed: unknown signal The application will exit now.

I have reinstalled the Alpha and i've restarted my PC but I did get on the normal client now for some games even though i wanted to test some more stuff on alpha

alpha testing has successfully completed friends! look out for the new open beta environment to be unveiled to all

i must have misunderstood the article, cuz i assumed they were not patching alpha any further, however they are still providing access to both lagacy and alpha clients but because it says unknown signal, i would first disable any firewall or security and make sure you can request the patch successfully. https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752664-Troubleshooting-Connection-Issues

still not successfull updating once youre certain its about to reach the patch? its most likely not simply a connectivity issue but software. i know you reinstalled already but if youre lucky you just missed some simple step! this is how they say to do it https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/202539040-Reinstalling-League-of-Legends
