Can't connect to game

I tried to play a game of TFT and when I tried to get to the loading screen, the client just closed itself with no error messages and when I reopen and hit reconnect nothing happens. Anyone else experience this? Did you figured out what was wrong? It just sucks that I have to sit here and not play the game until that match is done.

Edit: So I finally managed to get back into the client and tried playing another game of TFT. The same thing happened and I'm unable to play or do anything else. Whelp guess I'm not playing LoL today

I also have tried to fix this for a couple of weeks now. All of a sudden it won't launch anymore.

Update I was able to fix this by going into my computer's auto-update menu, and I checked for updates. I thought my computer's administrators would have pushed these out, but I actually had 3 updates to the .net framework and an OS update. Now I am able to launch the client!
