Hi everyone.
I tried to update the patch 5.19 today, as I was reading through the patch notes, I clicked on a link in the Notes, the launcher went white, completely white. I then restarted the patcher and a bug splat notice popped up, the launcher did start after the notice. It began scanning files but then got stuck on 4. I have restarted my computer, restarted the launcher and checked a couple of other solutions but none worked.

Patch 5.19 wouldn't be until somewhere around late September. The patch later today is 5.13.
You can't download a patch because Riot hasn't actually done the patch yet. The servers go down at 0600 EST (0300 PST, or 20 minutes from now) for the patch to be implemented. Riot has stated they expect the battlegrounds to be unavailable for approximately 6 hours.
So it'll be around 6 hours and 20 minutes (if all goes well) before you are able to download the patch.
Every time I open the client to star the download, the client crashes when analyzing files 12,13,14,16, sometimes it gets through and starts to download, but it is insanely slow, like between 50-150 KBps, and then it crashes, it also sometimes gives me an error that says, error occurred, please check logs, CAN WE GET A RED ON THIS PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEE, other people are having problems too, they are starting to post threads, NOTICE USSSSSSSSSS.
now its too annoying >.< its been for hours im trying to install this patch.. its still 0%

OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2012) Processor: 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3 Graphic Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB
I am having the same problem with Version 5.19.
The client starts
I press Play Select any game mode
Select a champion
Game start timer ends
THEN BOOM
NOTHING a black screen with only my mouse arrow.
I tried reconnecting.
Got the same black screen, I tried creating a custom game SAME PROBLEM, I am not even getting to the loading screen where I can see all the champions in the game loading onto the rift.
HELP!!!!
